On November 4, Mr. Zhou Lin, Deputy Director of the SCOPA Management Committee and Vice Mayor of Jiaozhou City, led a delegation from Shandong SCOPA to visit the China-Singapore Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce (CSYEC) and was received by Mr. Liang Wenjie, Founding Chairman and Executive Chairman of the CSYEC. Other key members of the delegation included: Mr. Sun Peng, Director of the SCORD Management Committee and the Second Department of Industry Development; Mr. Bian Xingyu, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong Academy of Environmental Sciences; Mr. Chen Xiaofeng, Deputy General Manager of Qingdao SCORD China Merchants Service Company Limited; Mr. Li Zhilei, Deputy General Manager of Haier Group HaiChuangHui Technology Venture Company; Mr. Chen Dianxi, Deputy General Manager of Qingdao SCORD Holding Group; Mr. Liang Hen, Staff of the Outreach Department of Qingdao SCORD Huaxin Science and Technology Development Company Limited. Ltd. and Liang Heng, a staff member of the Outreach Department of Qingdao Shanghe Huaxin Technology Development Co. They were joined by other core members of the Chamber, including Mr. Chong Shou Kwan, Honorary Advisor of the Chamber, Mr. Guan Jian Xing, Vice Chairman of the Chamber, Ms. Yeung Kam Mei, Vice Chairman of the Chamber, and Mr. Li Shimin, Board Member of the Chamber. The two sides had a discussion and reached a consensus to work together to promote the development of the two places in the three major areas of finance, technology and trade in the future.
During the meeting, the two sides mainly understood the allocation of resources and the competitive advantages of the two places during the visit. In recent years, the development of the SCO Demonstration Area has entered a period of rapid growth, with more than 130 projects introduced since its inception. With the approach of "bringing in, going out", the Chamber assists quality enterprises to enter the domestic market and develop overseas markets. It is believed that through the cooperation, it will effectively promote exchanges and sharing of resources between the four places on both sides of the Taiwan Strait in various areas, such as human resources exchanges, financial services, technological development, and so on, injecting new vitality into the economic prosperity and development of the two places, and contributing to the promotion of the deepening of the interaction between Hong Kong and the international arena.
